VOLUNTEER – DELIVER HOPE!
When We Care for Others, Our Life Flourishes
You Are Important to Our Seniors and to Us
In just 2-4 hours per week, you can make a difference by delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors or by providing clients with transportation to medical appointments. You wouldn’t let those you care about go hungry, struggle with loneliness, or suffer from lack of access to care. We won’t either. Join us!

Volunteer Opportunities
MEALS ON WHEELS (MOW) VOLUNTEERS
Deliver a lunchtime meal to 5-10 homebound seniors which averages just 1 ½ -2 hours. Weekday opportunities, typically between 10:30am and 12:30pm. Locations throughout Pinellas County. Spouses/partners can team up to do the deliveries together or independently.
TRANSPORTATION DRIVERS
Volunteer drivers ensure Neighborly clients safely arrive on time and are returned home from a range of medical appointments and pharmacies (within ten miles, one way, from the client’s home). Choose your region of the county; no wheelchairs or lifting! Volunteers assist for a two to four hour block of time per week anytime between 8:45 am and 4:00 pm. Please note the additional volunteer and vehicle requirements in the volunteer application.
Make a Difference
We can end hunger and social isolation for our seniors in Pinellas County. It doesn’t take much to change a life. Let’s go beyond expectations regarding our aging elderly community, elevating dignity and respect for life as we age.
OUR VALUES
Acts of kindness naturally occur when we treat others as ourselves.
Deliver hope, meals, and compassion, come rain or shine.
