Order Meals with Private Pay
Want a break from cooking or a dependable meal option for someone you love? Choose a box of 5 or 7 ready-to-heat frozen meals, delivered weekly, every other week, or monthly. Private pay orders do not require a funded-meal assessment. All deliveries include a wellness check.
A regular complete meal includes an entrée, milk, bread, and fruit or dessert. Meals are $10 each, including sales tax: $50 for a 5-meal box or $70 for a 7-meal box. Delivery days vary by ZIP code.

More Than A Meal At The Door
A delivery from Neighborly is also a human connection. Caring volunteers and staff bring each meal to the door, offer a friendly visit, and check on the person receiving it.
For an older neighbor who lives alone, that visit may be an important part of the day. For family members and caregivers, knowing someone will stop by can offer reassurance.
Helping Pinellas County neighbors stay at home
Since 1966, Neighborly has helped older adults in Pinellas County receive meals at home. Making that possible takes people across our community: those who plan and prepare meals, coordinate routes, deliver food, volunteer, and support the program.
Without this local network, older neighbors and their families would have to find other ways to arrange meals and regular check-ins. Neighborly helps make both available at the doorstep.
Need Help Paying For Meals?
Funded home-delivered meals may be available to eligible adults age 60 and older who are homebound and have difficulty getting or preparing food. An assessment is required, and service is subject to funding and availability. Spouses of eligible participants and certain household members with disabilities may also qualify. The suggested contribution is $2 per meal. All contributions help keep this service running. Contributing is optional, and individuals are encouraged to give what they can afford.

How is Meals on Wheels supported?
The Older Americans Act helps support nutrition services for older adults across the country, including home-delivered meals. Here in Pinellas County, public funding works alongside local partners, charitable support, and the time given by volunteers. Private pay offers another way for residents to receive convenient meals at home.
Sample Menus
Our meals provide at least 1/3 of the nutrition needs of an older adult.
This is about 600 calories, 30 g protein, 75 g carbohydrates and 20 g fat, 7 g fiber and less than 767 mg of sodium. The meals also provide adequate vitamins and minerals for older adults.
