Brightening Lives, One Smile at a Time

At Neighborly Senior Care Network, we witness firsthand the profound impact that volunteers have on the lives of seniors. Our dedicated volunteers go above and beyond, not only providing essential services like Meals on Wheels and transportation assistance but also offering companionship and brightening someone’s day with their kindness and compassion.

Ways That You Can Get Involved

Transportation Drivers: As a volunteer driver, you’ll ensure that Neighborly clients safely reach their medical appointments and pharmacies. With just 2-4 hours per week, you can make a significant difference in the lives of seniors within a ten-mile radius of their homes. Choose your region and make a direct impact on the well-being of your neighbors.

Meals On Wheels Volunteers: Join our team of Meals on Wheels volunteers and deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors. With weekday opportunities available between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, you can brighten someone’s day with just 1 ½ -2 hours of your time. Spouses/partners can team up for deliveries, adding an extra layer of camaraderie to your volunteer experience.

Group Opportunities: Are you part of a musical group or have a talent for entertainment? Consider volunteering as an Adult Day Care Entertainer. Bring joy and laughter to our seniors with music, magic, or any other form of entertainment. With locations in Palm Harbor, Largo, and South St. Petersburg, there’s a stage waiting for you to make a difference.

Pet Therapy: If you’re a registered pet therapy team with a dog, consider bringing smiles to our Adult Day Center clients. Your furry friend can provide comfort and companionship to those facing cognitive and memory challenges, creating moments of joy and connection.
