A Message from Neighborly’s Executive Director

We are all in this together. Neighborly is committed to serving all its clients during this crisis. Although our 8 Senior Cafes and 3 Adult Day Centers are closed until further notice, senior diners and Adult Day Care clients are being offered home-delivered meals. We thank our dedicated staff and volunteers for their help and flexibility as we redirect resources where they are needed most.
Neighborly is still offering transportation to medical appointments and grocery/pharmacy trips.
Our number of meals served is dramatically increasing. Neighborly’s Meals on Wheels is expanding even more as we partner with restaurants around the county to feed even more seniors. The participating restaurants include Sheraton Sand Key, Frog Pond, Tiffany’s Restaurant, Chief’s Creole, Clear Sky Draught Haus and Our Place, allowing us to serve an additional 500 meals per day. This is an innovative and exciting new way to continue to feed seniors across Pinellas County.
We are grateful to our community for your continued generosity in financially supporting our mission for over 50 years. We are relying on you now more than ever.
Please consider donating to Neighborly? Your donation will help to ensure our entire skilled and compassionate staff will be here for our isolated and desperate seniors, who can rest assured we will continue to provide life-saving services they are depending on throughout this crisis.
