2018 was a transition year for Neighborly. We have made significant improvements, giving us new life, enhanced expertise in a variety of industries, and a level of connectivity in Pinellas County.
We still have work to do. More than 83,000 adults 60 and older live alone in Pinellas County, and nearly 900 homebound seniors are on our waiting list to receive a warm and nutritious meal each day.
Each one of the numbers, below, is a senior who needed a meal, transportation, companionship, or comfort during the day. Your generous support is the reason we are able to make this happen.
429,369 meals were delivered
and served to adults 60 and older in Pinellas County.
115,985 hours of care were given to
seniors at our Adult Day Centers.
89,844 safe and reliable
transportation rides were provided.
How your support helped us this year:
963,823 volunteer hours were provided as Meals on Wheels Drivers. Senior Dining,Transportation and Adult Day Center volunteers.
Your hard work saved us $963,823 in value.
